  • Nai Mueang (เทศบาลตำบลในเมือง), Wiang Kao district, Khon Kaen province, effective September 6. The TAO was created in 1997, covers 58 km², 15 villages and 8,899 citizen.
  • Wiang Nuea (เทศบาลตำบลเวียงเหนือ), Wiang Chai district, Chiang Rai province, effective May 21. The TAO was created in 1996, covers 46 km², 12 villages and 6,625 citizen.
  • Bang Krathum, Bang Krathum district, Phitsanulok province, effective February 18 2010 (sic!). Additionally renamed to Huai Kaeo (เทศบาลตำบลห้วยแก้ว) since there is already the subdistrict municipality Bang Krathum (เทศบาลตำบลบางกระทุ่ม). The TAO was created in 1997, covers 40.45 km², 9 villages and 4,915 citizen.
  • Pichai subdistrict municipality (เทศบาลตำบลพิชัย), Mueang Lampang district, Lampang province, to be upgraded to a town municipality and renamed to Pichai Lampang (เทศบาลเมืองพิชัยลำปาง) effective June 13.
  • Tha Rae, Mueang Sakon Nakhon district, Sakon Nakhon province, to be upgraded to subdistrict municipality effective September 5 and renamed to Mueang Thong Tha Rae (เทศบาลตำบลเมืองทองท่าแร่) to avoid confusion with the municipality Tha Rae (เทศบาลตำบลท่าแร่ ) cvering parts of the subdistrict. The TAO was created in 1997, covers 11 km², 7 villages and 3,400 citizen.
  • Hua Khwang municipality (เทศบาลตำบลหัวขวาง), Kosum Phisai district, Maha Sarakham province, renamed to Kosum Phisai (เทศบาลตำบลโกสุมพิสัย) since it is the central subdistrict of Kosum Phisai district. Strangely, such a rename normally is discussed in the board to approve name changes, not the boards to discuss draft laws.

  • Thap Kwang subdistrict municipality (เทศบาลตำบลทับกวาง), Kaeng Khoi district, Saraburi province, to become a town (เทศบาลเมืองทับกวาง) effective August 20. The sanitary district Thap Khwang was created in 1972 and upgraded to a subdistrict municipality in 1999, covers 101 km² and 16,977 citizen.
  • Muang Ngam (เทศบาลเมืองม่วงงาม), Singhanakhon district, Songkhla province, effective August 31. The TAO was created in 1996, covers ​​29.77 km², 10 villages and 11,615 citizen.
  • Pasemat (เทศบาลตำบลปาเสมัส), Su-ngai Kolok district, Narathiwat province, effective August 30. The TAO was created in 1996, covers ​​38.192 km², 8 villages and 18,380 citizen.
  • Thung Yai (เทศบาลตำบลทุ่งใหญ่), Thung Fon district, Udon Thani province, effective August 31. The TAO was created in 1996, covers ​​82 km², 10 villages and 9,372 citizen.
  • Suranari (เทศบาลตำบลสุรนารี), Mueang Nakhon Ratchasima district, Nakhon Ratchasima province, effective August 24. The TAO was created in 1996, covers ​​49.38 km², 10 villages and 16,295 citizen.

  • Khok Khram Phatthana subdistrict municipality (เทศบาลตำบลโคกครามพัฒนา), Bang Pla Ma district, Suphanburi province, to be renamed to Ton Kram (เทศบาลตำบลต้นคราม) in order to avoid confusion with the adjoining municipality Khok Khram.
  • Phak Pang subdistrict municipality (เทศบาลตำบลผักปัง), Phu Khiao district, Chaiyaphum province, to be renamed to Phu Khiao (เทศบาลตำบลภูเขียว) in order to avoid confusion with the adjoining TAO Phak Pang.
  • Ban Phru subdistrict municipality (เทศบาลตำบลบ้านพรุ), Hat Yai district, Songkhla province, to be renamed to Ban Rai (เทศบาลตำบลบ้านไร่) in order to avoid confusion with the adjoining town municipality Ban Phru.
  • TAO Ban Mo (องค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลบ้านหมอ), Ban Mo district, Saraburi province, to be renamed to Mueang Khit Khin (องค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลเมืองขีดขิน) in order to avoid confusion with the adjoining Ban Mo subdistrict municipality.

Additionally, there are the headings for two upgrades of to subdistrict municipalities, but none of the abstracts giving the details as usual. So these might be additions to earlier decisions, which however Google does not find yet.

  • Thung Luang (เทศบาลตำบลทุ่งหลวง), Pak Tho district, Ratchaburi province, effective August 30 2007. The TAO was created in 1995, covers 108.26 km², 16 villages and 12,995 citizen.
  • Bang Mueang, Mueang Samut Prakan district, Samut Prakan province, renamed to Pak Nam Samut Prakan and upgraded to town municipality (เทศบาลเมืองปากน้ำสมุทรปราการ) effective July 5 2007. The TAO was created in 1995, covers 9.3 km², 5 villages and 20,822 citizen.
  • Khu Khot, Lam Luk Ka district, Pathum Thani province, renamed to Lam Sam Kaeo and upgraded to town municipality (เทศบาลเมืองลำสามแก้ว) effective August 1 2007. The TAO was created in 1995, covers 12.50 km², 6 villages and 42,153 citizen.
  • Mae Faek Mai, San Sai district, Chiang Mai province, renamed to Chedi Mae Khrua and upgraded to subdistrict municipality (เทศบาลตำบลเจดีย์แม่ครัว) effective August 24 2007. The TAO was created in 1995, covers 58 km², 14 villages and 7,553 citizen.
  • Sa Yai Som, U Thong district, Suphanburi province, renamed to Khun Phat Pheng and upgraded to subdistrict municipality (เทศบาลตำบลขุนพัดเพ็ง) effective April 24 20071. The TAO was created in 1996, covers 32.52 km², 8 villages and 5,503 citizen.
  • San Don Kaeo, Mae Tha district, Lampang province, renamed to Sirirat and upgraded to subdistrict municipality (เทศบาลตำบลสิริราช) effective August 24 2007. The TAO was created in 1995, covers 138.65 km², 9 villages and 5,008 citizen.
  • Phraek Si Racha, Sankhaburi district, Chainat province, renamed to Sankhaburi and upgraded to subdistrict municipality (เทศบาลตำบลสรรคบุรี) effective August 24 2007. The TAO was created in 1995, covers 72.56 km², 16 villages and 7,548 citizen.
  • Klang Dong, Pak Chong district, Nakhon Ratchasima province, renamed to Si Ma Mongkhon and upgraded to subdistrict municipality (เทศบาลตำบลสีมามงคล) effective August 24 2007. The TAO was created in 1995, covers 185 km², 12 villages and 7,881 citizen.
  • Rename of subdistrict municipality Phang Lan, Sadao district, Songkhla province, renamed to Khlong Ngae (เทศบาลตำบลคลองแงะ).
