Meeting 32/2012

Meeting number 32 from May 15 2012 with three TAO upgraded to subdistrict municipalities and two municipalities renamed.
  • Non O - Non Wai subdistrict municipality (เทศบาลตำบลหนองอ้อ-โนนทราย), Nong Wua So district, Udon Thani province renamed to Phu Pha Daeng (เทศบาลตำบลภูผาแดง) to avoid confusion with the adjoining TAO Nong O and subdistrict municipality Non Wai.
  • Tha Duea subdistrict municipality (เทศบาลตำบลท่าเดื่อ) renamed to Tha Duea - Muet Ka (เทศบาลตำบลท่าเดื่อ-มืดกา) as it covers parts of both subdistricts Tha Duea and Muet Ka. And probably also (but not mentioned) to avoid confusion with the adjoining TAO Tha Duea.
  • Ban Bua (เทศบาลตำบลบ้านบัว), Mueang Buriram district, Buriram province, effective August 23. The TAO was created in 1996, covers 42.68 km², 18 villages and 9,584 citizen.
  • Pa Sao (เทศบาลตำบลป่าเซ่า), Mueang Uttaradit district, Uttaradit province, effective August 22. The TAO was created in 1996, covers 45 km², 8 villages and 7,492 citizen.
  • Ngio Ngam (เทศบาลตำบลงิ้วงาม), Mueang Uttaradit district, Uttaradit province, effective August 24. The TAO was created in 1996, covers 59 km², 16 villages and 8,990 citizen.

  • Tha Sida (เทศบาลตำบลท่าสีดา), Nong Phok district, Roi Et province, effective on the day of announcement. The TAO was created in 1996, covers 41.46 km², 11 villages and 5,955 citizen.
  • Ko Kaeo (เทศบาลตำบลเกาะแก้ว), Selaphum district, Roi Et province, effective July 31 2009. The TAO was created in 1996, covers 54 km², 14 villages and 7,507 citizen.
  • Ban Mo (เทศบาลตำบลบ้านหม้อ), Phichai district, Uttaradit province, effective June 1 2009. The TAO was created in 1996, covers 55.01 km², 8 villages and 5,922 citizen.
  • Hua Dong (เทศบาลตำบลหัวดง), Na Dun district, Maha Sarakham province, effective July 31 2009. The TAO was created in 1996, covers 29 km², 15 villages and 4,917 citizen.
  • Na Thom (เทศบาลตำบลนาท่อม), Mueang Phatthalung district, Phatthalung province, effective July 31 2009. The TAO was created in 1997, covers 13.44 km², 8 villages and 4,425 citizen.
Also, some area from the TAO Thung Hua Chang (องค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลทุ่งหัวช้าง) will be reassigned to the subdistrict municipality Thung Hua Chang (เทศบาลตำบลทุ่งหัวช้าง), Thung Hua Chang district, Lamphun province.

  • Thang Phun (เทศบาลตำบลทางพูน), Chaloem Phra Kiat district, Nakhon Si Thammarat province, effective July 17 2008. The TAO was created in 1996, covers 41 km², 6 villages and 9,161 citizen.

  • Wisit (เทศบาลตำบลวิศิษฐ์), Bueng Kan district, Nong Khai province, effective July 9 2008. The TAO was created 1996, covers 68.33 km², 13 villages and 6,688 citizen.

  • Sateng Nok (เทศบาลตำบลสะเตงนอก), Mueang Yala district, Yala province, effective August 23 2007. The TAO was created in 1995, covers 34.78 km², 13 villages and 26,587 citizen.

  • Khao Sam Yot (เทศบาลเมืองเขาสามยอด), Mueang Lopburi district, Lopburi province, upgraded to a town, effective August 23 2007. The TAO was created in 1995, covers 19.76 km², 7 villages and 28,853 citizen.
1There is a second municipality named Ban Chang covering the central part of the subdistrict Ban Chang, the two thus only differ in their status, one as a town (thesaban mueang) and the new one a subdistrict municipality (thesaban tambon).
