- Na Yao (เทศบาลตำบลนายาว), Phra Phutthabat district, Saraburi province, effective September 6. The TAO was created in 1996, covers 26 km², 7 villages and 3,848 citizen.
- Nong Khwai (เทศบาลตำบลหนองควาย), Hang Dong district, Chiang Mai province, effective September 5. The TAO was created in 1996, covers 17.40 km², 12 villages and 9,828 citizen.
- Nai Mueang (เทศบาลตำบลในเมือง), Wiang Kao district, Khon Kaen province, effective September 6. The TAO was created in 1997, covers 58 km², 15 villages and 8,899 citizen.
- Wiang Nuea (เทศบาลตำบลเวียงเหนือ), Wiang Chai district, Chiang Rai province, effective May 21. The TAO was created in 1996, covers 46 km², 12 villages and 6,625 citizen.
- Bang Krathum, Bang Krathum district, Phitsanulok province, effective February 18 2010 (sic!). Additionally renamed to Huai Kaeo (เทศบาลตำบลห้วยแก้ว) since there is already the subdistrict municipality Bang Krathum (เทศบาลตำบลบางกระทุ่ม). The TAO was created in 1997, covers 40.45 km², 9 villages and 4,915 citizen.
- Pichai subdistrict municipality (เทศบาลตำบลพิชัย), Mueang Lampang district, Lampang province, to be upgraded to a town municipality and renamed to Pichai Lampang (เทศบาลเมืองพิชัยลำปาง) effective June 13.
- Tha Rae, Mueang Sakon Nakhon district, Sakon Nakhon province, to be upgraded to subdistrict municipality effective September 5 and renamed to Mueang Thong Tha Rae (เทศบาลตำบลเมืองทองท่าแร่) to avoid confusion with the municipality Tha Rae (เทศบาลตำบลท่าแร่ ) cvering parts of the subdistrict. The TAO was created in 1997, covers 11 km², 7 villages and 3,400 citizen.
- Hua Khwang municipality (เทศบาลตำบลหัวขวาง), Kosum Phisai district, Maha Sarakham province, renamed to Kosum Phisai (เทศบาลตำบลโกสุมพิสัย) since it is the central subdistrict of Kosum Phisai district. Strangely, such a rename normally is discussed in the board to approve name changes, not the boards to discuss draft laws.
