The boundaries of Ban Suan town (เทศบาลเมืองบ้านสวน), Mueang district, Chonburi province are defined contradictory. The decision on this issue was moved to a later meeting to allow collecting more facts first.

Wiang TAO (องค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลเวียง), Thoeng district, Chiang Rai province to transfer Mu 2, 14 and 20, and parts of Mu 1 and 15 to the subdistrict municipality Wiang Thoeng (เทศบาลตำบลเวียงเทิง).
TAO Wang Nam Yen and Wang Nam Yen subdistrict municipality, Wang Nam Yen district, Sa Kaeo province are merged together by abolishing the TAO and enlarging the municipality. Additionally, the newly enlarged municipality is upgraded from subdistrict municipality to a town, thus now named Wang Nam Yen town (เทศบาลเมืองวังน้ำเย็น). The merge was already discussed in meeting 43 of board 1, however the upgrade is a new item on the agenda.

Samrong Tai town (เทศบาลเมืองสำโรงใต้), Phra Pradaeng district, Samut Prakan province renamed to Pu Chao Saming Phrai (เทศบาลเมืองปู่เจ้าสมิงพราย). Reason given is the fact that the subdistrict Samrong Tai is only one of five subdistricts covered by the municipality, so to create more unity within the municipality a new name fitting for the whole area was selected. Pu Chao Saming Phrai was the name of the first fort at the mouth of the Chao Phraya river. The name change was already approved by the board responsible for name changes in its meeting on August 10.
Sattahip subdistrict municipality (เทศบาลตำบลสัตหีบ), Sattahip district, Chonburi province renamed to Khet Udom Sak (เทศบาลตำบลเขตรอุดมศักดิ์). It was the name originally planned when the TAO Sattahip was upgraded (except now a silent ร was added), but at that time it was found that the wasn't possible because they lacked permission by the grandson of Prince of Chumphon to use the name. Apparently it was now granted.
TAO Song Hong (องค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลสองห้อง), Mueang Nong Khai district, Nong Khai to be renamed to Pho Sawang (องค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลโพนสว่าง) in accordance to the rename of the subdistrict earlier this year.

Bu Kraeng (เทศบาลตำบลบุแกรง), Chom Phra district, Surin province, effective October 27 2010. The TAO was created in 1996, covers 48 km², 15 villages and 7,831 citizen.

Ton Pao, Sam Kamphaeng district, Chiang Mai province upgraded to town municipality (เทศบาลเมืองต้นเปา) effective October 22 2010. The municipality was created in 1999 when the sanitary district Ton Pao was upgraded; it covers 15.36 km² and 12,452 citizen.

Phak Pang subdistrict municipality (เทศบาลตำบลผักปัง), Phu Khiao district, Chaiyaphum province, to be renamed to Phu Khiao (เทศบาลตำบลภูเขียว) in order to avoid confusion with the adjoining TAO Phak Pang.
Ban Phru subdistrict municipality (เทศบาลตำบลบ้านพรุ), Hat Yai district, Songkhla province, to be renamed to Ban Rai (เทศบาลตำบลบ้านไร่) in order to avoid confusion with the adjoining town municipality Ban Phru.
TAO Ban Mo (องค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลบ้านหมอ), Ban Mo district, Saraburi province, to be renamed to Mueang Khit Khin (องค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลเมืองขีดขิน) in order to avoid confusion with the adjoining Ban Mo subdistrict municipality.

Mae Sot (เทศบาลนครแม่สอด), Mae Sot district, Tak province, effective January 28 2009. The subdistrict municipality Mae Sot was created in 1939 and upgraded to a town in 2001; it covers 27.2 km² and has 52,350 citizen.
