  • Tha Duea subdistrict municipality (เทศบาลตำบลท่าเดื่อ) renamed to Tha Duea - Muet Ka (เทศบาลตำบลท่าเดื่อ-มืดกา) as it covers parts of both subdistricts Tha Duea and Muet Ka. And probably also (but not mentioned) to avoid confusion with the adjoining TAO Tha Duea.
  • Ban Bua (เทศบาลตำบลบ้านบัว), Mueang Buriram district, Buriram province, effective August 23. The TAO was created in 1996, covers 42.68 km², 18 villages and 9,584 citizen.
