• Tha Ngio (เทศบาลตำบลท่างิ้ว), Huai Yot district, Trang province, effective September 6. The TAO was created in 1996, covers 47.51 km², 8 villages and 4,815 citizen.
• Mae Tha Chang (เทศบาลตำบลแม่ท่าช้าง), Hang Dong district, Chiang Mai province, effective September 6. The TAO was created in 1996, covers 2.63 km², 6 villages and 3,259 citizen. The TAO covers part of the subdistrict Hang Dong, and was renamed from Hang Dong to Mae Tha Chang in 2012 to avoid confusion with the subdistrict municipality Hang Dong (เทศบาลตำบลหางดง) located in the same subdistrict.
• Lam Huai Lua (เทศบาลตำบลลำห้วยหลัว), Somdet district, Kalasin province, effective September 6. The TAO was created in 1996, covers 30 km², 10 villages and 6,191 citizen.
• Mueang Chum (เทศบาลตำบลเมืองชุม), Wiang Chai district, Chiang Rai province, effective September 6. The TAO was created in 1996, covers 48 km², 7 villages and 4,718 citizen.

• Na Ta Luang (เทศบาลตำบลนาตาล่วง), Mueang Trang district, Trang province, effective September 6. The TAO was created in 1996, covers 14.80 km², 6 villages and 6,578 citizen.
• Sanam Chai (เทศบาลตำบลสนามไชย), Na Yai Am district, Chanthaburi province, effective September 6. The TAO was created in 1997, covers 50 km², 8 villages and 4,400 citizen.
• Na Rueang (เทศบาลตำบลนาเรือง), Na Yia district, Ubon Ratchathani province, effective September 6. The TAO was created in 1996, covers 41 km², 9 villages and 6,440 citizen.

• Pa Bong (เทศบาลตำบลป่าบง), Saraphi district, Chiang Mai province, effective September 6. The TAO was created in 1997, covers 5.53 km², 6 villages and 4,002 citizen.
• Chawang, Chawang district, Nakhon Si Thammarat province, effective April 1. Additionally renamed to Pak Nam Chawang (เทศบาลตำบลปากน้ำฉวาง) since there is already the subdistrict municipality Chawang (เทศบาลตำบลฉวาง). The TAO was created in 1996, covers 55 km², 6 villages and 4,308 citizen.
• Yan Ta Khao, Yan Ta Khao district, Trang province, effective September 6. Additionally renamed to Khuan Pho (เทศบาลตำบลควนโพธิ์) since there is already the subdistrict municipality Yan Ta Khao (เทศบาลตำบลย่านตาขาว). The TAO was created in 1997, covers 18.20 km², 5 villages and 3,859 citizen.
• Sawaeng Ha, Sawaeng Ha district, Ang Thong province, effective June 7. Additionally renamed to Phet Mueang Thong (เทศบาลตำบลเพชรเมืองทอง) since there is already the subdistrict municipality Sawaeng Ha (เทศบาลตำบลแสวงหา). The TAO was created in 1997, covers 29.32 km², 13 villages and 5,208 citizen.
• Na Mueang Phet (เทศบาลตำบลนาเมืองเพชร), Sikao district, Trang province, effective September 6. The TAO was created in 1996, covers 102.14 km², 7 villages and 5,187 citizen.

• Subdistrict municipality Kut Chum Phanna (เทศบาลตำบลกุดชุมพัฒนา), Kut Chum district, Yasothon province, will get its area changed
• TAO Chamrak, Mueang Trat district, Trat province, will become a subdistrict municipality (เทศบาลตำบลชำราก) on August 1 2008. The TAO was created in 1996, it covers an area of 65 km², 5 villages and has 2,633 citizen.

• TAO Krawan, Khun Han district, Sisaket province, will become a subdistrict municipality (เทศบาลตำบลกระหวัน) on July 18 2008. The TAO was created in 1996, covers an area of 30.38 km², 12 villages and has 8,890 citizen.
• TAO Pho Krasang, Khun Han district, Sisaket province, will become a subdistrict municipality (เทศบาลตำบลโพธิ์กระสังข์) on July 18 2008. The TAO was created in 1996, covers an area of 49.15 km², 14 villages and has 9,069 citizen.
• TAO Nikhom, Sahatsakhan district, Kalasin, was made a subdistrict municipality (เทศบาลตำบลนิคม) effective March 11 2008. The TAO was created in 1999, covers 16.8 km², 7 villages and has 3,101 citizens.
