• Si Bua Ban (เทศบาลตำบลศรีบัวบาน), Mueang Lamphun district, Lamphun province, effective March 2. The TAO was created in 1996, covers 115.42 km², 12 villages and 8,765 citizen.

Meeting number 17 of board 1 from January 16 2013 with two TAO upgraded to town municipalities and one municipal area change.

• Nakhon Pathom (เทศบาลเมืองนครปฐม), Mueang Nakhon Pathom district, Nakhon Pathom province, effective March 1. The TAO was created in 1996, covers 22.2 km², 8 villages and 12,043 citizen. It should not be confused with the city Nakhon Pathom (เทศบาลนครนครปฐม), located south of the new town and covering parts of the subdistrict Nakhon Pathom as well.
• Nong Pling (เทศบาลเมืองหนองปลิง), Mueang Kamphaeng Phet district, Kamphaeng Phet province. The TAO was created in 1995, covers 84.58 km², 11 villages and 11,940 citizen. No date of being effective was given, but it seems the upgrade was done in March.
• Ban Tam (เทศบาลตำบลบ้านต๊ำ), Mueang Phayao district, Phayao province getting its boundaries redefined corresponding to the changes in the subdistrict bounaries made in 2012.

Meeting 68/2012

Meeting number 68 from October 30 2012 with two subdistrict municipalities upgraded to towns.

• Bang Rachan (เทศบาลเมืองบางระจัน), Bang Rachan district, Sing Buri province, effective March 8 2013. The municipality was created in 1999, covers 22.80 km² and 14,811 citizen.
• Lam Ta Sao (เทศบาลเมืองลำตาเสา), Bang Rachan district, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province, effective March 28 2013. The municipality was created in 1999, covers 36 km² and 19,399 citizen.

Meeting number 66 from October 17 2012 with one TAO upgraded to a subdistrict municipality.

• Khun Kaeo (เทศบาลตำบลเกาะเต่า), Nakhon Chai Si district, Nakhon Pathom province, effective January 31 2013. The TAO was created in 1995, covers 10.80 km², 4 villages and 7,331 citizen.

Meeting number 65 from October 16 2012 with two municipalities having their area changed.

• Ban Mai (เทศบาลตำบลบ้านใหม่), Mueang Phayao district, Phayao province.
• Tha Champi (เทศบาลตำบลท่าจำปี), Mueang Phayao district, Phayao province.

The boundaries were originally defined same as in the 1998 subdistrict boundary announcement [Gazette], however that was changed this year [Gazette], thus the boundaries of the subdistricts and the municipalities are no longer the same.

Meeting number 63 from September 18 2012 with two TAO upgraded to subdistrict municipalities.

• Ko Tao (เทศบาลตำบลเกาะเต่า), Ko Pha-ngan district, Surat Thani province, effective September 1. The TAO was created in 1997, covers 21.03 km², 3 villages and 1,716 citizen.
• Chai Wan TAO (องค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลไชยวาน), Chai Wan district, Udon Thani province renamed to Nong Waeng Kaem Thom and upgraded to subdistrict municipality (เทศบาลตำบลหนองแวงแก้มหอม), effective October 5. The TAO was created in 1996, covers 56 km², 15 villages and 5,108 citizen.

Meeting 55/2012

Meeting number 55 of board 1 from August 27 2012.

• TAO Pa Ko Dam (องค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลป่าก่อดำ) and Pa Ko Dam subdistrict municipality (เทศบาลตำบลป่าก่อดำ), Mae Lao district, Chiang Rai province to adjust their boundary and transfer some area.
• TAO Chaeramae, Mueang Ubon Ratchathani district, Ubon Ratchathani province to be upgraded to a town municipality (เทศบาลเมืองแจระแม). The TAO was created in 1996, covers 50 km², 10 villages and 10,312 citizen.
