- Tha Ngio (เทศบาลตำบลท่างิ้ว), Huai Yot district, Trang province, effective September 6. The TAO was created in 1996, covers 47.51 km², 8 villages and 4,815 citizen.
- Mae Tha Chang (เทศบาลตำบลแม่ท่าช้าง), Hang Dong district, Chiang Mai province, effective September 6. The TAO was created in 1996, covers 2.63 km², 6 villages and 3,259 citizen. The TAO covers part of the subdistrict Hang Dong, and was renamed from Hang Dong to Mae Tha Chang in 2012 to avoid confusion with the subdistrict municipality Hang Dong (เทศบาลตำบลหางดง) located in the same subdistrict.
- Lam Huai Lua (เทศบาลตำบลลำห้วยหลัว), Somdet district, Kalasin province, effective September 6. The TAO was created in 1996, covers 30 km², 10 villages and 6,191 citizen.
- Mueang Chum (เทศบาลตำบลเมืองชุม), Wiang Chai district, Chiang Rai province, effective September 6. The TAO was created in 1996, covers 48 km², 7 villages and 4,718 citizen.
