- Bang Rin (เทศบาลเมืองบางริ้น), Mueang Ranong district, Ranong province, upgraded from subdistrict municipality to town municipality effective February 28. The TAO was created in 1995 and upgraded to a subdistrict municipality in 2007, covers 78.65 km² and 24,526 citizen.
- Pho Sai (เทศบาลตำบลโพธิ์ไทร), Phibun Mangsahan district, Ubon Ratchathani province, effective July 13. The TAO was created in 1996, covers 79 km², 19 villages and 11,644 citizen.
- Kut Chomphu (เทศบาลตำบลกุดชมภู), Phibun Mangsahan district, Ubon Ratchathani province, effective June 28. The TAO was created in 1996, covers 56.37 km², 19 villages and 11,158 citizen.
